SMS Consent and Opt-In Disclosure

Altus Industries Inc II (“Altus”) provides SMS messaging solely for the purpose of facilitating participation in VIDICI® Virtual Care sessions.

How Consent is Obtained

Consent to receive SMS messages is obtained through a third-party, user-initiated process:

  • A patient or healthcare organization provides a phone number to a clinician
  • The phone number is provided specifically for the purpose of inviting the individual to a virtual care session
  • By providing their phone number for this purpose, the individual consents to receive a one-time SMS message containing a secure link to join the session

Nature of SMS Messages

  • Messages are strictly transactional
  • Messages include:
    • A secure link to join a virtual care session
    • The name of the sending organization and/or VIDICI® Virtual Care
  • No marketing or promotional messages are sent

Message Frequency

  • Messages are sent one time per invitation
  • Recipients will only receive a message when they are explicitly invited to a session
  • No recurring or automated messaging is used

Opt-Out Instructions

  • Recipients may opt out at any time by replying STOP
  • Once opted out, the phone number will be added to a suppression list and will not receive future messages

Fees

  • Message and data rates may apply depending on the recipient’s mobile carrier and plan

Additional Information

  • Phone numbers are not used for marketing purposes
  • Phone numbers are not sold or shared for advertising
  • Messages are sent only to fulfill the specific purpose of facilitating a virtual care session

By providing a phone number for the purpose of receiving a virtual care invitation, the user acknowledges and agrees to this consent process.
