Grand Rapids, Mich. — To improve clinician workstation durability and service needs, Altus, a U.S.-based mobile sit-to-stand workstation manufacturer, today announced a new service management platform for service requests, customer communication, repairs, warranty information and troubleshooting.
“Altus is proud to build extremely durable workstations. In fact, only 0.5% of our carts have required service fixes in the past. But we know life happens—especially in the demanding environments of healthcare facilities,” said Sarah Leitz, Altus Director of Product Marketing. “the new AltusCare platform makes it easier to troubleshoot issues and if necessary, request a service repair, making workstations more effective overall.”
Healthcare clinicians spend almost six hours on electronic health record data entry in an 11.4 hour shift. Dependable workstations and resources to back them up are crucial, as they can help keep clinicians on the go and in turn, better able to take care of patients.
The new AltusCare portal features a searchable frequently asked questions database, easy-to-navigate warranty information, troubleshooting and product installation guides, and an easy-to-use service request process when repairs are needed. Through this portal, customers are assigned a ticket and updated on progress along the way.
Additionally, the new AltusCare platform was built with the healthcare community in mind. The portal features message boards for clinicians to converse on various topics including tips, feature requests, peer support and more.
Altus is known for its custom solutions. Between carts, technology requirements and accessories, Altus products are designed with flexibility in mind.
“As an industry innovator, we are pleased to include AltusCare as a resource to support our customers and ultimately give clinicians products and services they can depend on. With AltusCare’s advanced analytics, we will work to proactively pinpoint issues so that we can continue to keep service issues low,” said Leitz.
